Refuge Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry Statement
Our mission is to be a place of refuge where students are accepted and shown the love of Christ through genuine caring relationships passionate teaching of the scriptures, and authentic discipleship. Our goal is for every student to learn how to apply the truth of God’s word and walk the rest of their life in relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Youth Ministry Verse
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. “ Psalms 46:1

Youth Refuge
At Live Oak, we believe that each student should be equipped to live a life that glorifies God by living as imitators of Christ. Students at Live Oak are challenged to imitate Christ in all aspects of life; this happens through Life Groups, worship, personal application, and fellowship. Our goal is to train our students to be imitators.

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1-2
